I'm Sophie and I have the best job in the world! Honestly, every single wedding I pinch myself that this s my actual job.
I'm based in Whitley Bay and shoot weddings all over the North East - Northumberland, Durham, and further afield if you fancy dragging me along. I know how to stay out of your way, read a room, and still come home with a gallery that gets you right in the feels.
No two weddings are the same, and I don't shoot them like they are. You're not getting a template — you're getting your day, as it actually happened.

STEP ONE

STEP TWO
If I'm free on your date, I'll send over my full brochure. It's got loads more information about how I work, plus a complete breakdown of my packages, extras and pricing — everything you need in one place. Any questions after that, just shout.
STEP three
When you're ready to get it booked in, I'll send your booking documents straight over. To secure your date I need three things from you: a completed booking form, a signed contract, and a 25% deposit. Once those are back with me, your date is locked in and we're officially doing this!
I'm based in Whitley Bay, North East England, and shoot across the region - Newcastle, Northumberland, County Durham, and beyond. where are you based?
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, who doesn't love an overseas wedding! Travel costs are covered by the couple - get in touch and we can chat through the details.
WHAT'S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
You will get previews within 48 hours of your day (usually even earlier as I get excited!). You'll have your full wedding gallery within 6–8 weeks of your day. I'll always let you know if it's looking any longer.
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET?
It depends on the length of your day, but you can expect a minimum of around 400–500 images for a full day. I'd rather give you images you'll actually go back to than pad the gallery out for the sake of it.
DO YOU GIVE RAW/UNEDITED IMAGES?
No - editing is part of the finished work, and RAW files aren't the final product. What you receive are fully edited images that are ready to print, frame, and keep forever.
CAN I PRINT THE PICTURES?
Absolutely, and please do. Your gallery comes with a full print release, so you can print wherever you like, or order directly through your gallery with my recommended printing company, if you want a straightforward option.
What does a couple session looks like?
Just a walk, honestly - usually an hour somewhere that means something to you. I'm not going to make you pose awkwardly. We hang out, you forget I'm there, and I take photos. If you'd like to include other family members or pets that's absolutely fine too!
WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?
Your deposit is non-refundable as it holds your date, but if something major changes I'll always try to work something out where I can. Full details are in your contract.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you can, honestly. Popular dates, especially Saturdays between May and October go quickly, and I'd hate to not be available when you enquire. If your date is coming up sooner though, it's always worth asking.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, a deposit secures your date and the balance is split across the lead-up to your wedding. I'd always rather find a way to make it work than have you miss out. Just ask if there is a plan that works for you.

For longer or bigger days I'd recommend it - it means more coverage, different angles, and nothing gets missed while I'm with the couple. I have photographers I trust and work with regularly, and if you want a second shooter it can be added to your package. We can chat through whether it makes sense for your day.
